Since the game is supposed to have some kind of narrative/story also according to the reviews I’ll trust that. Would usually delete comment, but considering Fediverse does not have much engagement I’ll leave this up, “hey look this game attracted a commenter’s attention!”
I’ve only played the demo from about a year ago, whirl the narrative and gameplay clearly refer to a post-apocalytic world, it felt less noticeable than many other post-apocalytic town/city builder games.
The exact tone might have changed a bit since then.
