It doesn’t matter if I’m extremely aroused or not, though. It’s about as pleasurable as pressing on an open sore. I don’t mean to yuck somebody’s yum, but I’m genuinely baffled how anyone could find that feeling enjoyable, let alone bearable.

I have, hence the examination mention. There’s something that still confuses me, though. If sex is supposed to be pleasurable, why is it when you’re being examined down there by a doctor, they’ll tell you to take deep breaths, as if to say “brace for impact/expect pain”?

Thanks. How do you push yourself past the phase where the pain makes your eyes blur and water? I get to about just over an inch up and that’s when I’ll be yelling to stop, because it hurts too much. And that was with loads of lubrication. I feel like I’m making a big deal out of this when other women seem to just put up with it. Is there anything I can do to increase my pain tolerance down there?
