I used to be able to just start a “smooth jazz” or “lo-fi” playlist and the algorithm would do its thing, but now I need to specifically look for “classics” or some such otherwise the slop shows up. I’ve not yet had this issue with the rest of my musical landscape though as that does default to real bands, but these “background” styles are definitely affected.

I don’t know about that, the reason these billionaires exist is because they’re at the top of the pyramid of a fucked system, if they all died overnight they’d just be replaced by the next one in line, cheap plastic shit and toxic food would still get produced, pollution would still keep happening etc. I mean there’s a chance that the event might work some sense into the rest of them, or scare them into enacting actual change but it’s not a given.

There are definitely levels to it, for example the Dutch and French administrations are incomparable, the Dutch being 100x more efficient and straight forward. I don’t know about the rest of Canada but I do know that at least Quebec unfortunately seems to have taken from their colonizer in that aspect.

Instead of cutting it off at a right angle you cut it at an angle. Personally I’m French and yeah I know of the technique but I’m not the biggest fan necessarily. Works best if you’re making 2 sandwiches out of 1 baguette and fill it up first before doing the middle cut.

Still felt a bit peckish after the tiny triangle sandwich so ordered a small fry, was greeted with not much less than pictured here haha. Had to share them to get through it.
