Engineering CADs and old peripherals with proprietary drivers for me. This cannot be always solved with a VM because either they are graphically intensive or hardware passthrough just doesn’t work for them.

There’s one specific case of Texas Instruments’ software suite for microcontrollers: they have all the tools, the IDE and SDKs available for windows/mac/linux, EXCEPT one stupid old sdk I needed that was ONLY available on Windows for some reason, so I had to use it just for that stupid piece of drivers.

For games I either do games that work on proton, or for extreme cased I have a VM with second GPU in passthrough, and that works quite qell, but cannot do on a work laptop.

Relaxed? What is the meaning of this word? My emotion is a booleam variable that is either depressed or agitated, nothing in between

Not all positions require outstanding motivation. If you are a project manager, sure a motivated one will probably outperform someone there just for the money that doesn’t give a shit. A technician on an assembly line? It doesn’t matter, you are there to operate a machine and motivation will not make you (sustantially) more productive, incentives on the other hand will (benefits, salary, less stressful working condition…)

Don’t answer the question, ask them for specific examples on why they think you are being unmotovated or unfriendly, don’t be aggressive, just pretend you simply don’t understand. They’ll tell you some bullshit and you can tell it’s a misunderstanding. Keep a polite and friendly tone.

This is just weird. Why make these changes? Customers don’t want it, the company doesn’t profit and they actually lost money and reputation by doing this and not backtracking. Who is benefiting from this? It looks like a perfect lose-lose situation

1. in richer countries sanitary conditions of food and water means there’s less risk of parasitic infection

2. if there’s no symptom, you probablu don’t have a parasitic infection. Remember that billions of bacteria and other microorganisms live in your body in a symbiotic relationship, that’s totally normal and without the you would die

3. For the love of God, please don’t take any medicine without your doctor telling you to do so. Esoecially any “purification”, " cleansing" or “detox” substance some randos on the internet tell you it’s good for you. Those are people with no medicanl knowledge at best or scammers at worst

Your concerns are valid and there’s a risk such a move would be either economically unsuccessful or emotionally draining. Is there a way you can start experimenting with some monetization without leaving your job? This way you can test how feasible it is, and yoy have more informarion on how it could work for you.

You can. I can enjoy Hitler’s paintings because they contains no nazism, even if a nazist mind produced them (you could argue that in his youth he was not yet a nazi, but that still doesn’t matter).

Heck, I’m going even further and say that even if a form of art posses some inheritely bad aspect, you can still separate it from other artistic characteristics.

Let’s say Hitler did a panting of a gas chamber killing people in a death camp, but is painted in such a skillfull and technically relevant way to be revolutionary in the art, then it’s ok if people like it (technically, not ideologically), it’s ok if it’s owned and hang in a museum, even if it depicts real, evil and needless suffering. You can approcciate something technically or artistically without having to embrace the ideals it represents. And it’s important to not cancel things just because bad people did it, because remembering is important.

As for modern bad artist, it’s more complicated because you might not want to financially support an artist who is a criminal/terrible person, but that still doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate their art.

Except if you are the overeating type of depressed person.
