Hmm I looked at our blocklist and

They do support hardware keys like Yubikeys though, and password managers like Bitwarden can also provide passkeys to websites upon request.
They’d have to improve the password storage mecanism to ensure they securely store the passkeys if they’re going to let users sync them accross sessions.
Partially, just because there is the ability to bridge it (ex: https://fed.brid.gy/), but I expect them to pull the rug at some point.
In the cursor metatada you can specify where the click occurs. Personally I always assumed the click would happen at the tip of the arrow, not the shadow below.

You still need to actively moderate the instance no matter what, but having registration applications makes it easier to weed out most of the bad stuff. It also stops a cross-instance spammer who makes multiple accounts with the same username from posting until they get approved (which I check when the application form is somewhat generic).
For Blu-Ray it’s slightly more complex (libbdplus and libaacs) plus a keydb list, but the concept is the same.
