Why else would people use drugs? The problem is that the side effects from drugs tend to increase unhappiness when you’re not on them.

Happiness is a release of chemicals to receptors in your brain. If doing something makes you happy, then it makes you happy.

I also hate splash shields. They’re mildly infuriating. I got the harbor freight Maddox oil filter socket set and now can generally avoid removing splash shields on my fleet

Probably the worst part about oil changes on modern cars. Engineers don’t put a lot of thought into making them quick and easy to take off and put back on, from my experience.

In my much younger years during the winter we stopped turning on corners in the neighborhoods and just e-braked around them to “practice” driving in a skid.

I still drive a five speed with an e-brake handle in the middle and I do this every opportunity I get in the snow and ice.

Driver forgot the self-immolating feature that is just for situations like this. Can’t stay stuck in the snow if the intense fire from your Tesla melts all of it within 40 square feet.
