HEAVILY second this. i actively avoid playing helldivers with people who will get sweaty and upset. the most fun i’ve had in that game is playing with low level randys and getting murdered by them more than the enemies.

idk if a “perfect game” exists, but helldivers 2 is DAMN close for me.

there’s still plenty of ways to make stuff autorun in a similar way. the thing that makes proper badUSBs so scary is that they’re recognized by the system as a keyboard.

it’s somewhat difficult to discern bad actors from regular users for this kind of attack, but it also hasn’t become prolific enough for anyone to bother. at a certain point it’s more the fault of building security for allowing some randy to access to sensitive hardware.

depends HEAVILY on the eye. some folks are really good at eyeballing shit. usually this goes hand in hand with other “visual calculus” skills like telling whether two things are the same size or determining angles at a glance.

reckon it’s just spatial reasoning + visualization + practice. i had an uncle who could look at a mechanical system and tell you exactly where all the wear would occur. i always thought it was some kind of savant trick until i started working on similar stuff.
