I only gave it up a year ago after COVID had begun, but suddenly everyone around me is snorting and hacking, and apparently very few people bother covering their mouth when they do anymore. It’s just for crowded spaces but 1 in 65 people in Canada have COVID right now, and while I’m super ultra vaccinated I don’t want to catch anything in general. It feels strange.

We’re back to masking, too, but in our case it’s because the pediatric vaccine is significantly delayed. The adults in the household got our boosters but our kids are at risk. So it’s masks on when we leave the house, until mid-October at the earliest.

Hope you all stay healthy, best wishes to you.

I qualify for my RSV vaccine and Pneumococcal vaccine now because of age and asthma so I’m getting those next week. I also got the shingles vaccine earlier this year. If people should get one vaccine I would say shingles is it, because that is SO painful.

I’ve managed to not get COVID either!! And I’m about ready to mask up again soon especially if I can’t get the newest booster vaccine.
