Interesting. Before seeing the video, I thought it would be alleviating pressure in the joints but here the joints are still taking in all the load of your body? It’s only helping you move forward.
I’ve been hiking all my life, and I think the pressure on my joints are more of a concern than stamina. for me, at least.

Gee, I wonder why hiking up a historic mountain staircase wouldn’t wind you or tax your muscles as much as regular people.
