I have a very smart cat but he uses that intelligence to uh get my attention.

He’ll groom himself in a mirror only to look at me in the mirror and be excited when he sees me when he turns around to come at me.

He also likes to find ways to get my attention like getting in things or knocking stuff over or scratching things or sitting on papers or my laptop or things. If I have a pillow in my lap or my laptop he will also find every possible solution to get as close to me as humanly possible. He is also very careful about not scratching me when he is on me or I pick him up.

He gets so annoyed and angry when I have a laptop or like block his approach in some way like just walking around or standing. Wherein he starts to run around and meow softly at me. Having zoomies and hiding in drawers or around corners when I’m walking around to just attack me with his softpaws to get my attention.

    I love him a lot.

Didn’t you just post a question asking about this and everyone answered either neutrally or with the smart cat?

Yup, just read the other post. No one picked stupid cat. Really weird behavior OP.

Edit: also, reading the reponses here, people don’t care or pick smart cat. Just like in the other post…

Can you, kindly, fuck off to facebook!? And ‘conduct’ your polls there and stop polluting here.

Whoever the “we” part are you! Ewww … smells like corporate …

Or even better : why don’t you go fucking ask your magnificent AI. I’ve heard they can replace a human now. Eeh? Right? /s

I think cats might actually die more from being smart, i.e adventurous, and straying to places where no cat has ventured before

Depends what the cat is for. If it’s indoor companion, then stupid cat. If it’s mouse hunter or travel cat - smart cat
