I turned off the heat and opened windows, as it’s supposed to get several degrees warmer yet before cooling down. Sure it’s a bit cold from an objective standpoint, but it’s only 60 (15.6C) in my place in winter anyway and very dry, so feels similar. Cats are thrilled to be able to smell outside for the first time in months.

The crisp damp air (from snowmelt) feels absolutely lovely, especially after a couple weeks ago when it hit -12 (-24.4C) for two days. It’s certainly alarming to have the temp as it is in February, but it feels nice. And oh man don’t get me started on getting rid of the stale air!

Anyway, it’s a lovely day and I just wanted to share :)

    30C

Spanish and Portuguese are comfortable enough to take off T-shirts sometimes. Norwegians already died of heat. British are complaining about the weather.

Summer nights over 20 = no sleep, almost drowning in sweat. 30 degrees = holy shit we’re all dying and the freezer is too small to sit in.
