    In the US, we’re prudes, so there aren’t government-designated nudist beaches.

    Nudist beaches are rare, and informally known to the locals.

    Research on a nudist/naturist website before heading out.

      Not federally-designated (which is unnecessary), but there are dozens of legal nude beaches in the US. There’s seven in Florida alone.

      Haulover Beach is one of the most famous in North America, designated a legal clothing-optional beach in 1991.

      Everyone can go topless in many places legally too, including Miami’s famous South Beach.
