Honestly? You don’t really want a big dick. If your partner wants a bigger toy, there are strapons and cock sleeves - it isn’t that big of a deal. But if your pp is too big, then this will hurt your partner, and suddenly, it isn’t a matter of preference anymore.
Plus, sure, people might get big dildos for themselves, but that doesn’t mean that that’s what they’re looking for in a dick. The size is usually to compensate for an intimacy or logistics issue, like not being able to get a good angle to fit the whole thing in like you would be able to with sex with a person.
Am I the only one who really doesn’t care about dick sizes? 🤭
I mean, a lot of non dick havers and dick havers alike are quite vocal about insulting or praising a lot of dick havers about their dicks, based on size.
Its quite literally built into our culture, with phrases like ‘big dick energy’, ‘limp-dicked’, etc.
While you might not be one, ‘size queens/kings’ do exist, as either a preference or kink or somewhere in between.
There are tons of studies about how both men and women judge themselves and others based on dick size, its a legitimate psychological/social concern/phenomenon.
Shit, with the increasing prevalence and mainstreaming of things like cucking and hot wifing and cuck queening and such, there’s a lot more people just actively looking for a bull / unicorn… and/or the opposite, somebody looking to either be humiliated or do the humiliation, or just has some kink/fantasy/scenario that works best with a smaller dick.
Its also potentially a legit safety concern if a guy and a gal are significantly different in just their general body size.
And, while vaginas obviously change shape and size depending on arousal… vaginas can also just be max/min bigger/longer or smaller/shorter as well, per person.
IIRC, best general correlation for both dick and vagina size is just your overall height.
Yeah, a lot of people care about dick size, for a lot of different reasons.
Yeah I always found it weird saying stuff like “big dick energy”, just my experience but irl I’ve never had anyone say that or done so myself. Online I’ve certainly seen it. The thing about judging people based on dick size, I just don’t see how that works, you don’t know how big anyone’s dick is, usually 🤭 I understand there are people who care about size for kink purposes and stuff, that’s not a mystery. Maybe I am the outlier, it’s fully possible. I never even measured my dick till I was an adult and a girl online asked me how big is it lol.
The mainstreaming of niche kinks is an interesting point. I do think society in general has been porn brained, if that makes sense. People are having less sex, watching more porn. Cucking is a good example too, I’m not that old but compared to when I was younger stuff like cucking just wasn’t on the forefront of peoples minds? Nowadays if you get into an argument online, one of the go to insults is cuck 🤭
I’m guessing you’re in your mid 20s, roughly, based on how you describe society and use emojis.
I’m about a decade older.
When I was in highschool, girls would commonly just insult guys by saying some variation of ‘you have a small dick’, when they wanted to be very mean.
I am honestly kind of baffled by the idea that you’ve never encountered anything like that irl… but at the ssme time, maybe that actually is the case, as sexual norms have changed dramatically just in my life so far.
It used to be a lot more uh… denied, puritanical, fetished, considered obscene, closeted, hush hush, just any kind of discussion about or referencing sex or genitals at all.
Far less / worse sex ed.
So, a lot more guys and gals just literally had no idea how ‘normal’ anything was or wasn’t, because you weren’t supposed to talk about it.
But at the same time, big dick = good / small dick = bad has been a cultural thing since at least the 70s, probably considerably longer than that.
You got a fair number of famous and popular songs, tv ads, magazine ads, things like that, that basically allude to this concept, as being provocative, having to use coded language or a visual metaphor to dance around that idea, but its been there for a long time.
So, in general, I think being able to have an actual fact based discussion about the topic is far superior to the old norm of everybody kind of just having some vague notion and expectation but also not knowing hardly any of the details with any actual accuracy.
I mean I’m not gonna do a deep dive on the cultural significance of big dicks and when they became relevant so that I can one up you with facts and logic. I am just speaking my experience and opinions.
Your experience is closer to mine, I didn’t talk much about dick sizes and stuff with my peers.🤭 Also could be we’re from different cultures so that probably makes a difference too. In my experience dicks and their sizes haven’t been relevant in many discussions. Like the place where I first learned about dick based values is when I first watched the American pie type movies where everything is about sex and dicks lol. So maybe it’s an American thing idk.
Could be it was a thing in the 70s already but what I’ve seen with my own eyes though is how cultural norms changed with widespread porn usage, and nowadays you really see dick sizes and cucking and racial stuff everywhere.
It is probably at least somewhat an American thing, for quite a long time we’ve been massively more sexually repressed and insecure compared to at least Europe, due to having a lot more puritanical religious nuts.
Many commericals that I’ve seen, that ran on TV somewhere in Europe, in the last 20 years, they’d never be allowed on American TV because they are way too obviously making sex jokes.
I mean, we also still circumcize most of our boys/men, for literally no good reason.
Americans have a very unhealthy relationship with all things sexual, compared to quite a lot of other places.
Yeah circumcision is definitely an interesting topic. If anyone even implied the equivalent be done to girls nowadays, people would absolutely flip at you. Yet it’s done to boys every day and noone blinks. Some even defend it lol, it’s wild.
I’m Jewish, so I know why we do it, but that’s only for us. Goyim shouldn’t do it and most of us think it’s weird that they do.
I’m Jewish and I think that if you’re not Jewish, there’s absolutely no reason to circumcise. The only benefit is possible increased cleanliness in that taking away the foreskin makes it so that some have to clean off smegma and you can’t get phimosis, but even that’s a flimsy reason. The only reason it became popular among non -Jewish and non-Muslim Americans is because of John Harvey Kellogg, inventor of Corn Flakes, promoted it as a preventative measure against masturbation. As a frequent masturbator, I can attest that it doesn’t work and I get plenty of sexual pleasure regardless, from both masturbation and sex. The Corn Flakes were also meant to prevent masturbation because apparently eating them reduces sexual appetite or something. I can also attest that that is also ineffective.
Oh, and I want to add that no, we Jews are not responsible for people being increasingly into cuckold and incest porn. That’s just the porn industry making whatever sells. They wouldn’t make it if people weren’t already into it.
At least ya’ll get latkes and dradels and really neat candelabras, and Fiddler on the Roof.
We get grape juice and … fucking still Corn Flakes, believe it or not, and… well I guess Veggie Tales is actually pretty good, not exactly classic cinema though.
I have Jewish cousins lol, family gatherings growing up were basically mini culture shocks… how long will it be untill my dad makes an anti-semitic joke this time?!
