This is newsworthy because Massie was the only remaining Republican who insisted on the release of the Eppstein Files and at least had the courage to make it clear that the current U.S. president is deeply involved

Anybody suggesting that Trump cultists are learning their lesson and deserve sympathy, go fuck yourself. The only possible silver lining here is that Trump does so much damage to his name and the GOP over the next 5.5 months that the Democratic candidate (Strange?) wins. Unlikely.

As someone who doesn’t keep up with the Republican bubble, I think Atrioc had a good breakdown of this whole situation.

    tl;dw

    • Depsite Massie voting Republican 91% of the time, only breaking on topics of War, Debt, and Pedos, there is a concerted effort to paint Massie as a secret Democrat.
    • Massie is one of 4 Republican congress people to push for a release of the Epstein Files. Without them, we wouldn’t even have what little we got.
    • the GOP ran a fully AI generated ad showing Massie hanging out with Democrats to besmirch him (with a tiny “this satire is AI generated” disclaimer that boomers won’t notice).
    • Trump’s description of Ed Gallrein is that he’s “a warm body” and “central casting” (Trump’s phrase for “looks the part”).
    • Ed’s credentials are that he’s endorsed by trump. He never talks about any issues. He never showed up to a debate with Massie.
    • KY has “Sore Loser” laws which prevent Massie from running as an independent in the actual election.
    • This was the most expensive primary in US history, over $32 million was spent. For a state primary.
    • Total corporate spending in US elections is now over $1 billion per year, and will likely skyrocket this year, so $32 million on a primary is nothing. Expect to see mass manipulation during midterms. (Thanks Citizens United!)

His signature achievement was the release of the Epstein files. Republican voters are officially pro-pedophile.

Just to be on the safe side, in case the mainstream media in the U.S. doesn’t give this much coverage: The advertising budget to secure Gallrein’s election victory amounts to $32 million, a large portion of which comes from pro-Israel groups. It is the most expensive campaign of its kind in U.S. history.

Somehow, I don’t think these are free or fair elections. Especially if Isreal is spending tens of millions bribing politicians and lying to voters.

United States is in a decaying state of disrepair.

If any other country was pouring millions into our elections everybody would be up in arms, but because it’s Israel they somehow get a pass.

What sort of numbers were involved here? Primaries in my area are notoriously low turnout even in hot races. Did they get a ton more turnout relative to Dems with that much money spent?

Turnout in Massie’s primary jumped to like 30 something percent of the district. He actually gained primary voters this year, but was swamped. I’m guessing hyper targeted ads got out the vote against him. That or fraud
