If someone wishes you a painful form of terminal cancer how would you feel?
I’m a genderfluid disabled butch. People wish death on me all the time.
Is this a social experiment, or are you having a mental break?

I’m simply respecting your right to free speech. You have the right to say and think, ‘Billionaires deserve to die.’ That’s your First Amendment right, and I respect your right to think it. However, at the exact same time, I also have the right to say, ‘You deserve cancer. I hope your kids get cancer, and if your 5-year-old son dies in a school shooting, he deserves it.’ Basically, free speech is a two-way street, and that’s the problem with saying, ‘X person deserves to die.’ Because if you or your son, regardless of how old he is, dies, then don’t expect people to feel sad for you. They have the right to think you deserve it and celebrate it.
So mental break, got it, thanks!
I’d imagine at least one of us was a pretty bad person.
People feel all sorts of things, but often they’re not even really about me, so I often don’t take it personally.
Who hurt you?
I find it very concerning that you’re wishing cancer on people who have done nothing to you

I never said that anyone deserved to die, so i dont know why you’re saying tjis to me like its tit fir tat.
Most people express sympathy when kids die, whether they mean it or not. It’s part of the social contract, independent from law. If you don’t have something nice to say, the polite thing is to shut up. You won’t be arrested for breaking social expectations, but don’t be surprised if there are social repercussions
I never said that anyone deserved to die
I asked in a previous post if they think all billionaires deserve to die. The majority of the comments said yes. I then said that it is their right to say and feel that way. At the same time, it is my right to say, “Your kids deserve cancer, or they should die in a school shooting.”
Freedom of speech works both ways. Everyone is entitled to feel how they feel. That’s my point.
So you asked whether billionaires deserve to die to bait people into saying yes so you could have an excuse to go around defending your right to wish innocent kids dead? Again, I personally didn’t say anybody deserved to die. I explicitly said they didn’t.
Other people’s opinions of me are none of my business
People usually don’t wish that without any reason. If the wisher wasn’t actually mentally unstable… Maybe it is time for some self reflection?
Yeah that’s fair.
It’s the internet for us right now, so that counts as a win
