It’s objectively a waste of grapes and I think it’s pretty obvious
Grapes don’t keep well, wine does. Why do you think people started making wine and e.g. cider? Great way to preserve fruit juice.
Today’s wine isn’t being made to keep grapes from going bad, the past doesn’t apply to now.
So what do you have against wine? It’s not ikke butter is a waste of milk, it’s a refined product. Same with wine.
