We know Bill Gates and Jeffery Epstein were close acquaintances and we also know Steve Sinofsky (former President of Microsoft’s Windows/Windows Live Engineering Group) paid Epstein $1 million, and Epstein acted as a negotiator/point of contact involved in Sinofsky’s Microsoft resignation/exit package discussions. So is it safe to say Windows has quite a bit of connection to Epstein and should be avoided for that reason alone?

If it was possible for Epstein to compromise Windows and have access to spy on people.
Maybe Bill Gates would just do that to spy on Epstein. So when Epstein tried to extort Bill Gates, Bill gates would have a thousand times the compromising material on Epstein.So the very simple answer using Occam’s razor is none.
This sounds like an interesting conspiracy theory. I would just say there are plenty of reasons why people shouldn’t use Windows. The JE angle isn’t necessary.
The man wasn’t so much into mass surveillance and hacking as ingratiating himself to other rich people. He did that by handling their finances and reducing their tax bills. Or by providing girls and young women to be abused. He did and collected favors. He amassed influence. He may have crossed paths with people responsible for Windows. But I don’t think the product is tainted by that. Microsoft didn’t need JE for that.
