I use Summit, and I am fairly new to Lemmy.

I got banned from https://lemmy.world/c/dull_mens_club

I am quite shocked! I wanted to make a post about this fart which I produced that I believe my neighbors heard. After composing the post, I got a message that I am banned. ME!? Why!? And when I opened my profile I couldn’t see any of my posts at https://lemmy.world/c/dull_mens_club

Is it possible to see them so I can figure out the reason

Look in the community’s sidebar (where you find the description etc.) for the modlog and the accounts of mods. I don’t know how to do that in Summit, sry.

I found the mod name, and it opened a profile and I was able to message them, is that the appropriate way? Or is that the personal account or something.

Like on reddit you have the mod mail and you could message the mod as a reddit user.

Is it the same on lemmy

I have indeed never had to contact a mod but if they’re listing an account in the modlist, I would assume you’re meant to contact that account in its function as a mod account. Chill, being banned is not the end of the world.
