I bought a sandwich yesterday which was a hot sandwich (in this case it was a Cuban but could be cheese steak or meatball or chicken parm or whatever). I only ate half and put the other half in the fridge. What’s the best way to reheat it?

Microwave seems to destroy the bread. Stove top seems to be uneven and burn the bottom before the top is warm.

open it up, there’s no law saying meat can’t touch the griddle plate

and REAL sandwich enthusiasts say sammy or sammich, not the plebian “sando”

Actually, cold cuts grilled are amazing. Mortadella is a good example.

I drunkenly put a leftover cheeseburger in a waffle iron a while back. Fucking magical.

Put a big iron skillet on low on the stove with a smaller skillet or bacon press in it. When they get hot, put the sandwich on the big pan with foil on top, place the other pan or press on top.

        That’s how I press sandwiches.
