I am not looking to pirate (this time) I just want to install some specific free games in steam but I don’t like steam, they are offline and have no DRM from what I know either but if they did it’s not that hard to get rid of it anyways.

I just wanted to ask here cuz I would think people here would know for well. Obvious reasons. So ye, Is there any safe way to do this that has the games well updated and all that?

    It’s coming but I’ve used Heroic with GOG for years, it works great.

        You’ll likely be able to find if on whatever store your distro comes with. There’s also the third party launcher Lutris but I have found Heroic to be great. If you’re playing games without a linux version, Heroic will help you install WINE versions as well, so you can play almost anything.
