Another quality post 👍
You may also want to read up on women’s anatomy to learn the virginity tests were bullshit and based on bunk ideas that were never true.
Can you quote the section you are referring to? I can’t see your title claim in the linked article.
The only possible thing I could find, which doesn’t at all substantiate OPs title:
A female can undergo a surgical procedure, called hymenorrhaphy or hymenoplasty, to repair or replace a torn hymen, to “pass” a virginity test.
Yeah I saw that too, but that doesn’t seem likely to have been available in medieval times.
I’m more shocked that this is a rather recent problem. Like still in 1980 in great britain? Only forbidden recently? On one hand you have nukes, spacefaring, AI and on the other hand you have literal cavemen ruling the world.
Don. C’mon.
Calling that cheating is bullshit.
Refusing to play a game against a stacked deck dealt by oppressors isn’t cheating, it’s survival
A depressing article as a whole, but the section on infibulation was an especially horrific read.
There isn’t a reliable way to test for virginity as both the hymen and vaginal laxity vary with individual anatomy (most hymens partially cover the vagina and have one or more openings, but some women are born without any openings in the hymen or without a hymen altogether), the hymen can tear from non-sexual activity, the hymen may be flexible enough that penetration doesn’t result in tearing, and bleeding can be caused by injuries to vaginal walls rather than from damage to the hymen itself which has few blood vessels. To quote Adam ruins everything from 10 years back! THE HYMEN DOESN’T WORK THAT WAY!
